Kabab King in Norcross is a straightforward Pakistani restaurant where the focus is clearly on generous, flavor-packed portions rooted in traditional recipes. The atmosphere is busy but unpretentious — you’ll find a steady stream of diners, especially on weeknights, who come in with a clear agenda: authentic home-style dishes served hot and fresh.

The dining space itself is practical rather than styled for ambiance, making it a solid choice for casual meals rather than leisurely dinners. Many visitors stop by for large takeout orders or sit down to enjoy the robust spices that define items like the beef biryani, nihari, or tandoori chicken. The smell of spices hits you upon entering, setting the stage for the bold flavors to follow. Portions tend to be on the generous side, so it’s a place where sharing or packing leftovers makes sense.

Given the variety on the menu — from hearty beef haleem and goat biryani to garlic naan and samosas — this spot suits those who already appreciate Pakistani cuisine or anyone eager to dive into dishes that carry a distinct regional flair. It’s also common to see folks coming in for lunch specials or the midweek menu offerings, which highlight dishes like goat kunna paya or beef qorma.

Customer flow can lead to moments where communication might lag, particularly with takeout orders during busy times, so patience helps. The staff move efficiently, but the focus is more on getting the food out promptly than on polished service. For those who prize authentic taste and value over formality, Kabab King hits the right notes.

Best times to visit are early evenings on weekdays or weekends when the crowd is lively but manageable. It’s a spot where locals looking for authentic Pakistani flavors in the Atlanta area gather, whether for a quick bite or to take home a meal that stretches into multiple servings.

Food is authentic Pakistani food and you won't forget the taste. You name it and they have it. The biryani was ultimate and the nan kabab was deliciously delicious. Try the nan and kabab and the taste will linger in your mouth. Try nalli nihari and malai chicken if you can. Every time they leave us awestruck. A must visit to have a glimpse of nawabi taste in USA.

We’ve been here a few times, take out and dine in. The food is always great and worth the price because they give very generous portions. It’s hard to find biryani that actually has flavor these days and theirs do. Only critic I have is the lack of communication and customer service. If you order take out and they’re really busy, they do not tell you when your order is ready.

Very good Pakistani resturant serving food from a “deeg”. I really enjoyed the beef pulao, nihari, haleem and naan. Was not too impressed with the biryani itself. But great food in general and place was packed on a Thursday night.

Well im a doordash guy and I had a pickup at this restaurant. Now i don't know what the other reviews are talking about because thee smells of flavors spices and something i really couldn't understand unless I tried the food. I walked in and it hit me all at once. I delightful state of confusingly hunger. But I had to make the delivery My mouth was salivating the delivery This is no cap fyi SURPRISINGLY I made the delivery with all items intact lol Yet i couldn't shake the feeling of i have to got back and try this place out. When I did I wasn't disappointed It was spicy yet that spicy that doesn't stop you from eating. I was good Very good The girl was dry but smiled after a dad joke I understand it's culture I guess yet she was cool. Its family atmosphere was welcoming To me when it comes to good food there is no language barrier. So there's my experience and if you can get beyond your own bias opinions of people maybe you can enjoy a wonderful meal. SEE I TOLD YALL ILL BE BACK AND GIVE MY EXPERIENCE LOL Young lady smile a bit HA!!!! SEE ya soon

We stopped by Kabab Ling twice during our road trip, and it was totally worth it both times! The beef biryani was packed with flavor — perfectly spiced and cooked just right. The nihari was rich, tender, and had that authentic slow-cooked taste you only get from a place that knows what it’s doing. And the bihari paratha roll? Absolutely amazing — smoky, juicy, and wrapped in a soft paratha that tied everything together. Great food, generous portions, and consistent quality. Definitely one of our favorite stops on the trip! Met up with Qamar bhai and enjoyed his funny shaee o shairi
